More than just a neighborhood gymnasium, Florence Family Fitness is a throw back to the days of "the Mom & Pop" grocery store. The neighborhood barber shop or "soda fountain. A place where the people of the community congregate on weekday afternoon and evenings or weekends.

Upon entering the gym, the first thing you notice is the décor. The walls are adorned with pictures, news paper clippings, plaques and awards. There are (of course) those pertaining to the business, but they are not the dominant ones. Then there are the ones that show how much the owners are involved in the community. The ones of the local high school and community recreational league sports teams, the many, many carefully cutout and framed news paper articles, the certificates and plaques of appreciation for both sponsorship and participation in Township civic and sports activities.
